Wholewheat Pesto Orecchiette with Pine nuts and crispy Taralli

Orecchiette are a typical pasta shape originating from Puglia. Their name derives from their particular ‘ear’ shape.

A wholewheat pasta dish merged with the original Pesto sauce from Genoa.  The pesto sauce is renowned for it’s aromatic basil base and pine nuts.  For this dish we have left out the garlic as we are aware that many do not like the taste.  The crunchy Taralli are used as a garnish and will give your plate the final touch for a gourmet experience.
