Turmeric and Poppy Seeds Trofiette with Garlic, Oil, Chillies and Breadcrumbs

A spiral shaped pasta, typical of the Ligurian region, trofiette are shaped by hand.

For this delicious vegan dish, we thought of incorporating the delicate poppy seeds with the Turmeric Trofie pasta.  The sauce on the other hand is a naepolitan classic with fresh garlic, olive oil and chilli base.  The spicy chilly and fragrant garlic mixed with the genuine olive oil embrace the hand made pasta trofie.  We have also added goji berries, known for their nutritional value, the berries give a natural sweetness to the dish, elevating the flavour.  A final sprinkle of parsley flavoured bread crumbs renders this dish a colourful and tasty plate.
