An ode to Rome, the Spaghetti ‘Cacio e Pepe’ is a typical dish of the Italian capital. The spaghetti used for this traditonal recipe are made from Durum wheat and known as Spaghetti Senatore Cappelli. This variety of spaghetti is dedicated to the Marquis Raffaele Cappelli, who was instrumental in the agricultural reform in Italy.
Spaghetti ‘Cacio e Pepe’ is made exclusively with Pecorino Romano cheese and a loooot of freshly ground pepper. A creamy cheese pasta dish with a kick– enough said!
